Performance Marketing Manager

Job description

Zero Two Digital is currently recruiting for a talented Performance Marketing Manager to work across a number of B2B and B2C accounts covering both products and service offerings. We are looking for a unique individual for this hybrid role, which entails managing a range of paid advertising accounts across multiple channels, in addition to carrying out ongoing SEO work on a number of retained accounts.

We live and breathe everything marketing and we expect you to be passionate about performance marketing and driving results for our clients. A proven track record in delivering results and a proactive approach to each account you work on is essential.

Salary Range: £35,000 - £40,000

Experience & Skills Required
  • 5+ years' experience in a similar paid media/SEO role, with a proven track record of delivering against KPIs
  • Experience in all aspects of paid media platforms including, Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Programmatic Display, Paid Social, Amazon and affiliates networks
  • Experience using industry standard tools such as Search Console, SEM Rush/Moz, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, etc.
  • A very strong understanding of technical SEO and a proven track record in improving SEO metrics
  • Conducting keyword research to identify new content opportunities
  • Strong understanding of measurement tools and methodology across digital channels
  • Proficient at using Google Tag Manager and Analytics to set up multiple levels of conversion tracking
  • Identifying and testing new channels to continue to drive client ROI
  • Developing and driving clients’ SEO strategies to boost organic growth
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills to understand data and analytics to bring a proactive approach to accounts
  • Experience producing detailed (and basic), easy to understand monthly reports using Data Studio or similar
  • Strong personal communication skills with the ability to review accounts with clients

Our office is based in Stratford-upon-Avon however there is an opportunity to work almost fully remotely. Our expectation would be one day in the Stratford office every two weeks at minimum for account reviews.

Senior WordPress Developer

Job description

We are looking for a passionate and experienced senior WordPress developer to work alongside our lead developer to build bespoke themes for a range of different clients. This will be a fully remote position, however it will be necessary to attend meetings where required so it is important that you reside in the UK and are within driving distance of the Birmingham area.

We are looking for someone who can tackle any bespoke project with ease and positivity. If you build sites that rely on themes and plugins, this position is not for you.

Salary Range: £30,000 - £40,000 (depending on experience)

Core responsibilities

Your core responsibilities will include:

  • Working on a wide range of client projects on the WordPress CMS platform, including bespoke theme builds, site migrations, plugins and Gutenberg block development.
  • Develop bespoke themes from our teams UI designs in line with our client’s requirements.
  • Collaborate with our design team to review and give feedback on existing designs.
  • Work with our lead WP developer who will be there to offer support to help you grow and learn.
  • Continue to learn about best practice WordPress development and expand your knowledge through various learning techniques.
  • Suggest solutions to, and fix client bugs when raised on the support desk.
Technical experience
  • A modern approach to development including knowledge of JavaScript ES6/2015 and React.
  • Essential skills in HTML5, CSS3, PHP.
  • LAMP (bonus).
  • Experience in using Git and GitHub, package managers and virtual machines for browser testing.
  • Knowledge with version control (Git).
  • Experience in working in an agency, circa 3-4 yrs + or equivalent
  • Knowledge of other CMS solutions a bonus.
  • The ability to solve problems and propose solutions.
  • Strong communication skills and the confidence to speak to your colleagues and clients when necessary.
  • A strong work ethic and passion for development.
